Split your song into stems

Upload your own song: vocals, drums, bass and guitar on separate channels. Mute one, or Solo it to hear it alone. Turn the vocals off and you have a karaoke backing track.

  • Vocals
  • Guitar
  • Bass guitar
  • Drums
  • Piano
  • Other

Stem separation is for education and practice only. Recordings belong to their rights holders; the separated channels may not be used commercially, published or distributed, and there is no download option.

Tune up before you play

A free tuner that uses your microphone. Pluck a string: it finds which one, tells you to tighten or loosen, and chimes when it's in tune.

  • Guitar, bass (4 and 5 string) and ukulele
  • Standard, Drop D, half step down, DADGAD and open tunings

Frequently asked

How do I find the chords of a song?

Paste the song's YouTube link. The chords are worked out against key and tempo, the shapes are shown with finger numbers, and the lyrics are aligned to the song. The result is ready in a few minutes.

Can I get the stems of a song?

Yes, for songs you upload yourself after signing in. The song is split into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other instruments, and on the song page you can silence each channel with Mute or hear it alone with Solo. Stems are visible only to you. Stem separation is for education and practice only; because the recordings belong to their rights holders, the separated channels may not be used commercially and cannot be downloaded.

Does it produce guitar tabs too?

Yes. Separate tabs are produced for bass, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, with every note written as a string and fret. The fretboard shows the chord shape exactly, and the pressed strings light up green.

Does it give the lyrics as well?

It does. Lyrics are found from published sources and aligned to the moments the vocals are heard; the source link is shown underneath.

Can I practise with the original song?

Yes. In lyric mode the lyrics scroll word by word in sync while the original recording plays, with the chords above. If the key does not suit your voice, transpose the chords, and loop any section to practise it again and again.

Is it free?

Yes, free. Analysis needs a free account; one ad is shown after the analysis.

Which file formats are supported?

mp3, wav, flac, m4a, ogg and aac — up to 20 MB. You can also analyse straight from a YouTube link.

How accurate are the results?

Chords and tabs are the result of analysis; accuracy is high on simple arrangements and the margin of error grows on dense ones. Transpose and capo let you adapt them to your own playing.
